Jason Godson / Wildcat Projects

One more
thing to try.

I’m Jason. I like making things, and my projects don’t all fit in the same category. Wildcat Projects gives them a home.

How I approach it

Build it.
Test it.
See what happens.

There’s a spending app here, a pool heater, a nutrition tracker, an arcade for my games, and a pipeline for making game assets locally. The connection is mostly that I wanted to see if I could make them work.

Sometimes I’m solving a problem for myself. Sometimes I’m testing whether something could become a product. And sometimes I just want to find something fun to build.

I want room for all of that: software, electronics, automation, 3D printing, vehicles, or whatever the next idea needs. Picking a niche would leave out too much of what interests me.

Why keep a record?

The finished thing only tells part of the story. I want a place for the decisions, changes, and details I’d otherwise forget. If a project stalls or turns out to be a bad idea, that belongs here too.

YouTube is where I plan to tell the build stories. This site is where the notes, links, and project details can stay together.

Some projects work. Some don’t. That’s the point.

01 / Start small

Try the uncertain bit.

Make enough to answer the first question before planning the whole thing.

02 / Pay attention

See what actually happens.

An app needs to be useful. A heater needs to heat. A game needs to be fun.

03 / Keep the notes

Leave something useful.

Write down what changed and why, even if the project ends there.
